Update on Laurie
Hi Karen- Wishing the best for Laurie; hope she gets out soon. I'm sure it's really hard for her to be away from Nemi, and vice versa. Bless your heart for taking her daily and dealing with all that entails. I wish hospitals would make it easier for those that visit there often, it's the least they could do.

Kristy,
Thank you for your well wishes. We are so fortunate that we have done all her care at the U for 20 years. They started working with her at age 7, did not kick her from pediatric ward until she was 20 (if they had space), and up to the adult ward where the gastric surgical patients go.
When she was in and pregnant with Nemi, she always had sonogram pics on her door, they could not wait to see the new ones. If I had to be in a hospital, 7B is where I would want to be.
Hopefully they will make a decision and we can get her out of there soon.
Hug Lauren tight and have a great day,
Karen, Laurie and Nemi

ONE
session at a time is all I can do, multitasking is a fine art that I am still trying to master.
