Headaches post surgery

I know ibuprofen is out but can you take excedrin w/o aspirin after surgery?  If not, what do you take?

Hey Sandy. I take plain old Tylenol liquid gels...works well!

I took liquid tylenol (they sell it at Target). It works great and not bad tasting either (or else I was just super hungry because I was still on liquids???).
