Calories?

I may of asked this already but I'm going to ask again...

How many calories do you eat?
I know protien is number one and I look at that 1st and formost but I cant help bu****ch calories and my friends and family are thinking I'm becoming a little obsessed.

I think its fine I'm just taking the best advantage of this time.


Just a day at a time...  thats all you can do.

How many are you eating a day?  When I asked the nutritionist about a month ago, she said around 800. I'm only 3 months out though.

I'm 4 months out and I'm anywhere between 600 to 800.  Some people I have asked said dont go over 2000.  my jaw dropped! I'm not even sure how someone can eat that much with a tummy our size.


Just a day at a time...  thats all you can do.

 I don't know how anyone could eat that many calories after WLS.  I often look on the RNY or the main board for the daily post on "what are you eating today?"  Lots of people post their protein and/or calorie counts, so it's interesting to see how much and what people eat.   I've been logging my food online and most days I'm between 600-900 calories a day, usually on the lower end around 700.

I agree with Kristy. I was told to be around 800. However, when you work out sometimes you have to up the calories since you are buring calories.
