One Year Ago...

I can't believe it's already been a year! Yesterday was the one year mark of my new life! I am down 100 lbs. I have days where I feel like it's not much, but then I see the pictures of the morning of surgery and I can so see how far I have come.

I am doing things that a year ago I couldn't do. I take the stairs at work. I park further away from things. I keep up with my nephews and nieces. I even wrestled with my 7 year old nephew.

And just this morning I noticed that I have a collar bone!!! Who knew?

I am so greatful that I have one of the best support systems in the world. My family, friends, co-workers and my OH family have been whats truly gotten me through this last year. I am lucky that I didn't have any complications, and have had a pretty easy time with all of it. The head issues still creep up, but thanks to my support I have been able to manage those.

I second Amy in that you need a new avatar!  And I think you should SERIOUSLY consider gracing the Depot with your presence on Saturday if you can - it's been AGES since we've seen you at Maple Grove!!!

Thanks Darla, I think this is the first Saturday in I don't know how long that I don't have something going on in the morning, so I am planning on getting to the Depot!

Hopefully I can talk someone into taking a few pics of me, so I can update my photos!
