OT - prayers needed for tbnsr

I just got a call from our friend Tim a little while ago - he and his wife could use our prayers. they're in the hospital with his mother - she won't be here much longer, he said it could be 10 minutes, 10 hours or maybe 10 days, but he doubted the later. It's hard enough losing a parent, but he has also lost his best coping mechanism - food - and he's really struggling with it.

I shared a few ideas with him on how to get through this without making himself sick, as well as how to FORGIVE himself if he slips and makes a few bad choices during this difficult time.

And as all this has been going on, his wife, Barb, received word that her father is failing as well. Stress on stress - it's not good.

So people, if you are so inclined (and I KNOW many of you are!), send up a few prayers for this family - for peace, for strength, and for Tim to do the best he can with his tool throughout it all. I know he'll feel them and be grateful.

Prayers are on their way up for you and your family Tim at this difficult time. Know that the power of prayer is amazing enough and I do pray for you to find peace and comfort at this time.
Having just lost my MIL and watching her for months, I do know what you are going thru.

OMG please let both of them know that I am so keeping them in my prayers. I know how hard it is to lose a parent beings I just lost my dad. I turned to food and that was not good. Thanks Darla for letting us know.......Many prayers and hugs........
