10 pounds a month. Is that enough?

I have been losing about 10 pounds a month.. A total since dec 18, 32 pounds. It still seems like I should be losing more.. Kind of mad about the whole thing. I know I need to exercise more.. maybe that will do the trick. Back to the gym I go tomorrow!!! It just so hard to work out when I am so busy.. I will try and go at least 3 times this week!! Did any of you start off slow?

From experience here....ramp up your exercise and things will pick up.  I began to slow up and decided to move somehow everyday and the weight loss increased.  I know you can do it!!!  Doesn't have to be at the fancy gym either.  It is getting nicer out and could mean a spin around the block a couple times a day to get going.

Honey, as long as those 10 pounds a month are moving in the RIGHT DIRECTION, you need to CELEBRATE!!!  Losing 10 pounds a month is NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT - in a year, you could lose 120 pounds!  Can you even grasp how fabulous that is??

OWN IT, LOVE IT, KEEP IT GOING!!!

believe me, 10lbs a month is absolutely wonderful! you probably could ramp it up a bit by exercising more, that will help, and it's a good habit to get into. but be happy with that number! as long as the numbers are going down, you are doing great!

10 pounds a month is great! Losing in general is good! I know it hard to know what is "enough". I know I was constantly comparing myself to other people I knew who had had surgery and that wasn't helpful at all! Everyone is different, everyone loses weight differently. I do think that exercise will help out A LOT! I know it really made a difference for me. I have found that working out first thing in the morning is what works for me. I seem to find 100 other things I have to do at night and exercise is never on that list. I started waking up at 5:30am to work out. I figured I had to get up any to go to work, what is an extra hour? I wouldn't by worried, losing is losing, and that i how you have to think about it. You can't compare yourself to anyone but you. I am still having a hard time with that one, I tend to compare myself and that is when I feel like I am not doing enough, but I working on it. Celebrate the loss, wether it be 10 pounds a month or 20!
