Thanks Amy. I know we just need to be patient  but Laurie and I both wanted so bad for there to be no problems from being preemie. BUT This can be resolved ans soon she will be chattering her little head off.

At least it isn't health related!  This is something that can be "fixed" with patience and hard work.  I'm sure they make the program fun for the kids, so Nemi will think she is having a good time while actually learning new skills.

We already know she is special - in a good way!!

Hi Karen!

it is so nice to see your smiling face and to see how beautiful your Grandaughter is.  She is so big now!  My how they grow up so fast.

I am really glad you have shared your story  My Grandson is not talking at all yet and he is almost two.  I have been so worried about him, but now I think that I need to convince mom to get him into see the doctor to be evaluated.

I know everything will workout with your Princess.  You and your family will be in mythoughts and prayers.

Hugs, peace and serinity!

Linda

PS, tell Laurie not to be bummed, everything will turn out okay!

Thanks, he should be seen by his pediatrician and then he/she can make the referral. Baby sgin Language books can help with being able to communicate.  We used Baby Signing For Dummies, a small easy put in your purse size book that has 20 + signs.

Good to see that you are doing better and that life is good for you.

Take care,

Karen

The hard part was hearing that there is an issue.

The EXCITING part will be watching her learn and overcome this challenge!!  Kinda like first steps all over again!!

It'll all be good, Karen...  She obviously has the desire to communicate, so that's more than half the battle!  Now she just needs the tools, and you're on your way to getting those.

I'd say "be careful what you ask for", but I know that doesn't really apply here...

I know, soon we won't be able to shut her up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I think that will be a happy proble  hehehehehe.

Have a great day, I think I am gonna have my meeting with caseworker, unhook my computer and headout to Best Buy. It wants to stick in a screen and I don't know what the hell is going on. First I better run some diagnostics. Last time BB had it  it took them 3 weeks to get it back to me. I can't survive 3 weeks w/o a puter  was in major withdrawal.

Hugs,
Karen
