OT Reasonable Venue

Does anyone know of a nice yet reasonable venue on the south side of the river for a wedding reception?  Or where the VFW locations are?  We tried Lakeville VFW but fear it will be to small for the reception, but may be ok for the bridal shower.  We are planning 130-150 guests at this time.  It will be a fall wedding.  Thanks!

Thanks, I forgot all about the knot.  We were hoping to stick with the VFW due to cost but who knows where we'll end up.  We can use the VFW for free since the groom is active miitary.

You could try Turtle's social centre in Shakopee.    I think there's a VFW in Chaska that has a large room as well.

When I got married, we had our reception at the KC Hall in Shakopee.  I think we had 120 guests.  Worth a shot!

Did you check on Fort Snelling's "employee's club."  Or the 934th Air Force Reserve has a meeting facility that they rent out for weddings/receptions to the public.  They even provide catering.  If interested, PM me and I'll get you a phone number. 

I hadn't even thought of Snelling and I didn't know about the 934th.  I'd love their number.
