VERY OT: Time banks
I don't usually promote stories we did at work, but I found one of our reporter's stories very interesting and thought I'd share... it seems like something that could be really useful to people in these economic times... and besides, we're all pretty talented here!!
The story we did was about time banks. They are website where people needing help can go online and register, then post what they can do and then find for others who can do something THEY need. It's basically a swap of talents... for instance, two people exchanging an hour massage for an hour of dog sitting.
I don't know... just thought I'd share because it sounds like a fun concept that I'm going to look into.
