Friday Coffee Talk

Good FRIDAY morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine!  The weekend is just a few hours away.  It is going to be a wonderful day.

Our challenge for today is to learn to not complain.  Complaining all the time is never good.  No one likes to hear when we complain.  What good does it do?  Sometimes there are times when we need to complain I know, but we have to learn when and how to draw the line.  To complain means to express displeasure or to find fault.  What does it take to make one happy?  Why does one have to always find fault?  Life is too short!  Let's learn not to complain, find fault, or express displeasure all the time in life.  May we always be people who can be happy with the small things, love everyone, and be pleased.  I don't know about you, but I want to enjoy life without being one to complain.

So, who's up?  What cha sippin' on?  Me?  I'm loving some awesome Maxwell House regular blend.  Good to the last drop.  Gotta love it!

Y'all have a wonderful complaint free Friday!!

I rarely complain because I look at my life and think, "What's there to complain about?" I always look at my life in comparison to my best friend who died from cancer... or other people who are FAR less fortunate than me.  So really, what is there to complain about?

And on the days that hardships come my way.... instead of complaining, I thank God. I thank him because he sees me as strong enough to handle the bump in the road and I thank him because I see every struggle as a form of 'enlightment'... if the road was always smooth, we would get to the end of this journey having learned nothing. But on a bumpy road with congestion, we learn patients, triumph, diligence, care, etc.

Oh dear.....  I should have read this before I wrote the blog I just put on my profile...

Now I feel bad.  But ya know what?  It was sincere.  And it felt good to get it off my chest.  And leave it to Elena to give me some perspective...

Today, I shall look at everything in a POSITIVE LIGHT!  Through my half-swollen shut eyeball..
