Well that was fun...

Not exactly an amazing day for me, but my heart is filled with lots of love from all the replies to Jennifer's posts. It's amazing being on the receiving end of all your love.

This morning I woke up with killer pain and called 911. It let go, so we started driving to Urgent Care... then it hit again... then let go.. then hit again... it was a rollercoaster from hell. Feels like I got kicked in the stomach a few hundred times.

We got to an urgent care where they took me in pronto... got an ultrasound and the doc walked into the room and said I had gallstones. My mom asked, "So what do we do?" And the doctor with the Harley Davidson-ridin' handlebar stach and Q-ball head said, "We're going to have to kill her."

Well... that's that.

Dr. Tom Jones (who also did my band) is taking me in for a gallbladder exorcism and I should be back to my old painless self in no time, right? If anything, I hope that frickin' gallbladder weighs 10lbs, so I can lose some more weight. lol

Good to hear you're feeling somewhat better tonight.  I hope they gave you some good drugs!    Yes, wouldn't that be nice if the thing weighs 10 lbs?  I hope everything goes well tomorrow and that you're back to feeling better in no time!

Pain is NEVER fun!  I'm glad they found the source of yours and can "fix" it relatively quickly.  I'm glad a surgeon you know is doing this surgery for you.  It is much easier to go under when you know who is working on you.  Good luck today and know that I will be thinking of you.  Feel Good!

Hey there!  Glad to hear you'll be on the mend soon.  And a comedien doctor to boot!  I remember gall bladder attacks well.  My last one had me on the floor of the backroom of one of our stores one day.  That was then end!!!  At least they didn't have to kill me!  LOL!  Big hugs to you my friend!
