I'm a mommy!

Hey everyone . . . the search is over!  I finally got a puppy.  She is 8 months old, a Coton de Tulear (looks like a white rag mop), weighs 12 lbs and from Iowa (like me). So I finally have my walking partner!  We got home from the long drive yesterday and are settling in and getting used to each other.  Maybe I can pull a "Tracey" and sneak her in to meet everyone at a future coffee. No name yet . . . but I'm working on it. 

Congratulations MOMMY!  You'll have to post a picture of her.  I assume at 8 months, she's a rescue? Did you get her from a rescue group or shelter? How did you decide on the breed?

A dog can be so many wonderful things.  A walking partner, a good listener and a warm body to hug.  Congrats to you both. It sounds like your puppy was lucky to fine you.  I have 2 Springer's and they are the joy in my days.  I know the breed and they are so beautiful.  Please sneak her into MG coffee soon.

Congratulations Cathy!!!  You and Ms. No Name will hopefully have a long, happy, healthy life together!  I think you will need to sneak her into coffee one day- we can havea puppy shower!!  Hopefully it wasn't too hard of a drive for you two to come back to Minnesota!  Enjoy Enjoy!

Congrats on getting your new best friend. I guarantee that this is the BEST thing you'll ever do for yourself (well except having WLS)! I never had pets growing up, but have found in the last 18 months that having that little guy so excited to see me everytime I get home is the most rewarding feeling in the world. 

I can't wait to meet your little angel! Maybe we can get her and Alfie together at coffee sometime????  Hope you find the perfect name for her. Post a pic please so we can all see her!
