16 1/4 hours till surgery

Tomorrow is my big day and I couldn't be more ready, more excited and happy to get this show on the road.

I have an angel (lafoster) that will post the status but just wanted to say thank you for all the information on here that has helped me in my 3.5 years of searching.  The support here is amazing and I appreciate as a pre-op all of the honest thoughts, fears, good and bad things that people write about.  I feel I am 100% informed because of that and that truly is a gift!

So thank you!  I posted a little more on my blog and we will leave it at that.  Will post when I get home!

Good luck tomorrow. I just got home yesterday from my surgery and it was totally the right decision for me 100%.  Other than being a little sore, the puree diet is fine and I can just say how happy I am that I finally and I mean finally did it and am on the way to a much healthier me.  I will look for your first post later in the week when you are back home and feeling awesome.

Sal- You'll do great!  I think it's wonderful you find yourself the night before surgery feeling so great about your decision, because you are SO informed!  Best wishes for tomorrow, can't wait to hear how you're doing.

My name is Karen and I've been "lurking" here for a few months, but am not a "techy" and haven't able to figure out everything works on the site yet.  My surgery is on Weds. (April Fool's Day)....who does that!!  I'm scared to death, but anxious to get it over with and on with my life.  If anybody reads this, I'd like to know if you have any suggestions of what I should definitely have in my house when I come home and what did you wish someone had told you or warned you about that isn't usually mentioned.  Thanks so much to everyone who posts on this site.  I've learned so much and you all have helped me make my final decision to proceed.
