If The Lodge was Heaven, then Work today must be.....
I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the Lodge event this past weekend and especially Darla (aka Wonder Woman) for making it happen. What a great bunch of warm, wonderful, fun people! On my way into work today, I was wondering to myself just how I might convince all of you to make that a monthly event rather than an annual event, but I realized that life's true pleasures are worth the wait........well, maybe worth the wait in this case. Heck, I am ready to go back there right now!

It was so nice to finally meet you... And yes I would love to see this happen more often. But like you said too often might detour from truly anticipating such a gathering! And frankly I am not sure if my legs could stand it!!! I dunno if it was the walking or the dancing, but my legs HURT so bad!!! But it was owrth it!! Loved spending time with you all!!

HELL. There, I said it. If the Lodge was Heaven, then Work today must be HELL.
Because everyone enjoys reading your posts, I just thought I'd share right here - We collected weight loss numbers from 29 people at the Lodge Saturday - not sure if we got EVERYONE, but the 29 people that did list their loss totalled 3,594 pounds LOST!!! That's right, over 1.75 TONS of flubber GONE!!! That came out to almost 124 pounds per person!
Also, if anyone left a stainless steel coffee tumbler there, I have it - let me know!

I'm with you Rick, I'd love to do it more often (staying at the Lodge, I mean). You'll just have to join us for our camping trips this summer and fall at Baker camp grounds. I'm not sure they get quite as crazy given that we don't have the entire camp grounds to ourselves, but they sure are a lot of fun! You are a blast to hang out with so I do hope you join us!

I agree......This was a great time with wonderful people.......I enjoyed all my conversations I had with everyone........And the crazy stuff was fun too.....Anytime I ever eat Crab dip on a cracker I'll think of Carol......That was the best Crab dip......Cracker sharing, bananna sharing, it was all in good fun.....
Seeing and meeting new people was great......
Barb (babs) was so fun.......I wonder when the park are going to develope those pictures, her pretending to be an 8 point buck, I thought Darla was going to pee she was laughing so hard.......
