Newbie 2

I made my first post 3 hrs. ago and then left the house for a preop appointment and errands.  I checked my computer and am OVERWHELMED by the outpouring of responses and support.  Thank you all so much.  Also, thanks for all the great suggestions.  I'm heading off to my last day of work for a while (yeah!) and start my liquids only.  I feel like I'm going thru a bit of a grief process...saying goodbye to old, bad, but comforting habits that has been my whole life.  I wonder if my poor granddaughter feels this way as she gets weaned off her pacifier.  All I know is that I want to be around to see her and her sisters grow up.  Thanks again to everyone.

I will be saying prayers for you Karen! It will all work out for us both and we will both enjoy our lives and familys more than ever!
