Today's appt

Today went very well. I got very nervous today when I stepped on the scale at home it said that I was up three lbs this would only give me a half pound and I still needed to add clothes. Well it all turned out good just ate a good breakfast, drank my water and peed a lot. By the time I got to my appointment I was ready to step on the scale. Boy was I happy the three lbs were gone! I lost three pounds more that they required! I then went through all of the educational information and was told that I'm ready and there is NO reason that they wouldn't set a date on Friday at my appt with the surgeon. This lifted such a weight off my shoulders, I think I danced all the way to my van!

Thanks for all of the support,

Jamie

Good for you losing the weight that you wanted to.  I hate playing tag between different scales!  Soon you'll have your date and soon we'll all slide over and make room on the bench!  Congrats!  Dolly

If you danced all of the way to the van, you might have lost another 3lbs!!  Great Job!!

Jamie,

Isn't it amazing the feeling that you get when you accomplish that weight loss requirement before surgery?  I remember getting weighed a week before surgery and was scared to death that my scale at home would be much different than in the Dr's office.  I needed to lose 20 and was down 23!

I am so happy for you and your soon to be set surgery date!  Congrats to you!

This is exactly how I felt. I was so scared, the what if's we driving me crazy (not that it takes much). To top it off how many home scales are harder on you than the Doctors? I think I like mine being harder on me than the Docs.

Congratulations to you!  I played such games with the scale.  I had my one "uniform" that I wore, which consisted of my lightest pants and shirt, even this winter.  Good for  you!!!  Let us know when you have a date!
