How are you moving today? Me? I am going to take a walk... oddly enough I'm 12 days from surgery and still pretty dang weak. It's frustrating.

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

I'm 12 days from nothing and I'm weak.....Lazy. tired.....At least you have an excuse.....

We plan on going Bike riding this weekend if hubby can get the tires pumped up....Otherwise the treadmill has my name on it.......

I totally agree with the quote you gave.  We do not have the option not to move somehow during the day.  It needn't be formal exercise at the gym or on the treadmill at home.  Parking the car further away from the doors of the mall, taking extra laps once you are inside, grabbing the dog or the kids in the stroller or wagon and walking around the neighborhood, some crunches or push ups, simple things like that.  It was when I gave up the excuses and devoted some time during my day to movement everyday, that my weight loss started moving again.

Thanks again for posting this everyday!  You are an inspiration!  Oh, and I did my normal cardio/core training for around an hour and my weight circuit routine.  Ahh, I feel great!

Since I've seen your weight loss speed up since exercising more, I've been trying to do more too. I've been doing no less than 25 minutes on the treadmill 5-6 times a week and the scale moved a whole 4 pounds this week.  I'm so excited !!

I went to the gym this morning and did 35 mins on the elptical and 30 mins on the bike. Then did some weights. Next spring cleaning. I'm sure I will burn some calories doing that!!

Elena, its great that you keep moving despite you just having surgery!! WOOHOO for you.

I did 20 minutes on the stairstepper today.  My knees use to hurt when I did that machine, now they don't...Yay    After my cardio I did 1 hour with weights.  The routine takes a long time.  I do three sets of each exercise.   I like having my heart rate monitor.  I'm always surprised to see my heart way stay up even when I am doing wieghts.  
 found out from the personal trainer that I was burning sugar and not fat when I was doing cardio.  I learned now where I need to be in order to burn fat.   Glad to know that now.
