Thanks so much for asking!  I am doing okay.  I had another rough night, I had a lot of pain (all around my middle from my chest down, and it spread around my side, I'm wondering if it could have been gas?)and got pretty scared.  Between myself and my son, my husband didnt' get much sleep.  We ventured out yesterday and made a few stops, which was nice.  I've been basically on the couch since last Thursday when I really overdid it.  I am going crazy looking at laundry.  If I could only bend down....  I may use my son's "grabber" today to pick up the clothes off the floor (I got them sorted last week when I felt really good one day, and they have been there since)!  I got back for my 2 week appt. on Wednesday afternoon.  I'll see Dr. Pierce again.  He said they won't check my hemoglobin for another few weeks.  I actually made my son dinner last night and got him dressed this morning, which felt good and normal.  I am really hoping for the green light on cottage cheese tomorrow!  I'm going nuts with this yucky liquid stuff!  I know I'm not getting enough protein in, gotta work on more shakes, I guess.  I feel like I'm doing okay on water.  I stopped passing blood, still no normal BM.  I have lost 15 pounds since my surgery date.  It seems so strange and fast, I just can't believe it's real yet.  I'm supposed to go back to work next Monday.  I have no idea if I'll be ready.  Freaks me out to think about the idea of teaching and running from class to class (I'm a school counselor).  Thanks so much for asking, I hope all is well with you.  Have a good day!  Angela

Sorry you had a rough night. It will take some time to feel better, especially since you had issues most of us don't have in the beginning.  I think at about the 3-4 week point I really started feeling better, the left side pain went away.  Are you wearing the binder like a good girl?  I found I was more able to bend when I wore that for support.

Way to go losing 15 since surgery, cool feeling, isn't it?

That is great on the 15 lbs.. how exciting is that...Pain sounds like gas to me, but make sure you mention it to Doc tomorrow... I agree with Kristy on the support thingy.. Helps keep things in place. Take it slow, if it hurts, then take it slower. I hope you sleep better tonight, I will think you you when I have to get up ar 4am yuk..
Keep up the GREAT work...
