Good Wednesday to you all... I hope you make it a fantastic day! I can't wait for the weather to warm up and get outside and move, move, move!

Wow- I just heard on the news that every 1 hour spent exercising increases your life span by 2 hours. By that formula I should have a few extra hours!
I will be heading off to the gym this morning for 60+ minutes of cardio and some strength training. Today is a lower body day. I am taking LisaJoy's advice and slowing down a little bit so I can stay in the weight loss zone for heart rate while I am exercising. I still work up a sweat, but am not exhausted when I finish!

I have walked pretty close to 5 miles outdoors so far today. Again I was struck with the power and bounty of nature along the Mississippi River. I also witnessed the inevitable premature emergence of the first female jogger of spring wearing spandex shorts and a sports bra. Undeniably young and fit, but c'mon, it was nippy out there.
