MMPI
Taking the MMPI is probably one of the easiest steps in the process to WLS. Course it takes forever to take it. My only advise is go with your first thought, don't over analyze the questions.

There are a lot of questions (hundreds, I think) and many of them are pretty much the same. My best advice to you is to answer them honestly/truthfullly, even if you think it might result in your insurance approval being delayed. If you need help with depression, for example, it would be better to get started on that before surgery than after when your body is changing so quickly and your mind is struggling to keep up. I have a history with depression, so I was worried about passing the MMPI, but it turned out fine. I am glad that I decided to continue seeing my bariatric psychologist for at least the first year after surgery. Emotional things come up that you just don't expect along the way (see my body image post from yesterday). Anyow, take care and good luck!

Some questions are kind of silly. "There is someone following me" "I love/loved my father" and "I enjoy meeting new people" "I feel like I'm being watched". Don't think too deeply about a question. They're not in any specific order, either.
I have been seeing my therapist for about 2 1/2 years now so he knows me pretty well. He said he didn't think the MMPI would bring up anything that we didn't already know about me (anxiety, control issues, not assertive).
