Did you move from Puree to soft foods before 4 weeks?
Just curious when most people moved from puree to soft foods and if you did it before your surgeon's guidelines called for. My time line is a bit gray as they call for puree for 3 weeks after surgery but my follow up isn't until 5 weeks out. I am tired of puree and may be able to tolerate soft foods but do not know if there is a down side to this. Comments, suggestions are appreciated.
Follow your surgeon's eating plan. It is very important to the healing process not to progress faster unless approved by your doctor. I know it is rough, but you are building good habits at this point. Although you feel good you are still healing, so you need to give your body and new pouch this time. You can do it! Use your food bordom to chanel your food focus into getting more exercise - eat the pureed food and then take a walk to get your mind onto the journey ahead.

I totally agree with the above advise. Don't push the envelope and follow the rules for as long as possible. Once you let the cat out of the bag it's really hard to get it back in. Now is the time to instill good habits. You can do it.....we're with you.
