14 days to go. . .
Hey! Welcome here and CONGRATS!!! Feel free to post away - you're bound to have lots of questions and nervousness in the next 2 weeks, but that's totally normal!
I didn't have a stereotypical experience, as I had a bit of extra "work" done at the same time - so for me, I was groggy as hell that whole first day! But after that, the more I walked, the better I felt. I spent 3 nights, and was VERY READY to head home that 4th day (a hospital is NO PLACE to get rest!!!) LOTS of gas and uncomfortable bloating for the first week-10 days, but that resolved itself...
GOOD LUCK to you!!!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I had a "textbook" experience. They did the lap RNY and took my gallbladder at the same time. I felt groggy/normal coming out of anesthesia, but was nauseous (that always happens to me under anesthesia.) I spent 2 nights in the hospital - pretty uneventful, but night 2 I got the dry heaves after taking my tiny birth control pill! I did have some alarms going off because I wasn't breathing as deeply as I should have been when I was sleeping, and that interrupted my sleep. That was the extent of my complications! I don't really remember a lot of pain or any major discomfort. Best wishes to you!
