BEER BUTT CHICKEN
Beer can chicken rocks on the grill. I'm glad someone posted this recipie.. it always comes out super moist (well unless you over cook it).
Find someone to take a few drinks out of your beer and then yes, up the birds backside the can goes.. and you actually use the beer can as the stand.. It helps steam the bird from the inside and flavor it.. It always turns out so juicy and yummy!
You can find metal stands that you can put the beer can in and then slide the chicken onto .. it has a wider base so you have to do less of a balancing act getting the bird to not fall over on the grill.. its super yummo!!!
We've sliced oranges and lemons very thin and thrown it in the can of beer too to get more flavor on the bird. A dry rub outside really makes the skin crisp up and seal in the juices too...
