Newbie-Gas ?'s

Can I take Immodium, or a gas aid to relieve pressure?  I have been hardly able to drink two bottles of water due to gas pressure and I am not sure what to do as I am only a week out at this point....

Try gas-x it worked ok for me, that and walking. I wouldn't take Imodium, that could cause constipation, you don't want that.

Definitely no on the immodium. You don't want to stop pooping. Call your surgeon and make sure, but you can try the Gas-X strips. Make sure to walk walk walk so you can fart fart fart.

I'd be willing to bet by this time next week, you'll be feeling WAY better in that respect...  For me, it lasted about 10 days - I wanted to POP!!!
