I just had to share my excitement with all of you who have supported me in so many ways on here and how you've reinforced my "I can do this" attitude!!!

I passed my mental eval with flying colors!!! Now I can't believe it.. I'm at the end of all my required appointments for my WLS office and my insurance.. yippee! 4 months ago I never thought this day would be here.. and now.. ANXIETY!!! EXCITEMENT!!

Health Partners insurance should get back to me in two weeks.. Psych said he'd get the summary over to their office yet this afternoon. WOW!!! So within only two weeks I'll have my answer.. All the providers said I'm a great candidate, I'm dodging co-morbidities by having it done now (with the exception of elevated BP and heart burn issues)!! And I'm mentally healthy and stable!

WHOO HOO!

I'm moving at the end of May and planning on surgery a couple of weeks later... I can't believe that I'm hoping to have my surgery in just 6-8 short weeks.. yippee! Big changes are on the way peeps.. hold onto your saddle.. its going to be a fun ride!

Whoo hoo is right!! I'm so happy for you! I know what that was like - now here I am, only 10 days away from surgery!! Aaaaaah!!

Hey hun. Keep an eye on your psych's office. I had my eval done on March 25th and they FINALLY got the eval faxed over to Abbott on Thursday 4-23. I was SO pissed at them for lollygagging. Now I can finally wait for insurance approval! Whew.

Thanks for the advice! I'll probably call on Tuesday to see if they have everything and if they sent it. I hope they can just fax it all in to the insurance and not have to actually mail it! lol
