Thank you so very much for giving such awesome inspiration to us newbies and advice and cheerleading!

And honestly, I'm looking forward to the day my bones give me a pain in my ass!!

Careful what you ask for, Stacy!  BAS (Bony Ass Syndrome) is one of the trade-offs for a smaller, healthier body - and it's WELL WORTH IT!!!

Here's hoping, praying and chicken dancing that your date isn't too far down the road!

(Then again, even if it IS far down the road, it'll STILL be worth the wait!  Right, Amy???)

on the bright side, if you are like me and had that freakish boney ass as a fat girl, it won't matter a bit.  Never had an ass, never will.  My boyfriend calls it my bussant (the butt that wasn't), but he can't say a lot, cause he has a little frog butt (you know, where a frog splays out on it's belly and there is only and indent between tummy which may be a little soft) and thighs).

I LOVE that with 2 years behind you, you're still such an active part of the board.  It seems like a number of people drop off the board the further out they get.  From both a pre op perspective and relatively early post op, I really enjoy your participation, feedback, support and general goofiness.  You look great and have come so far, thanks for being an inspiration!

Thank you for the sweet compliment, Kristy!  Or I should say, complimentS!?!

I made a promise to myself when I decided to go for WLS - and that was to STAY active with support, for the rest of my life!  We've all heard too many stories about people that get complacent, and end up gaining their weight back.  I REFUSE TO BE ONE OF THEM!!!  I'm going to continue to participate here, at PNC and at coffee get-togethers, so my WLS remains high up on the totem pole of my life!  I warned my family from the get-go, and they not only accept it, but they've gotten to know and come to love MANY of my "former fatty" friends!

And although I can appreciate being this "inspiration" person you speak of, I hope everyone realizes that the more you give, the more you GET.

So the fact of the matter is - I'm an insanely selfish person.

The last two years have definitely been quite the ride!  Congratulations on such a successful journey! And THANK YOU for putting yourself out there, because I just love and adore and admire you.  I agree, the biggest bonus isn't that we have lost weight on this journey, but that we have gained SO much of so many other things: friends galore that understand us, WOW moments, confidence, and the list goes on and on.

I often refer to my WLS friends as "losers" when talking to my non-WLS - it's just the easiest way to "label" who I'm talking about - but I can honestly attest that my WLS friends are by far the farthest thing from a loser than anything else I know.  I'm so proud to be part of this wonderful group and honored to be called a friend by so many on this journey and especially YOU!!!

I wish you continued success my dear friend and whatever other blessings God bestows upon you!

LOVES you!!!
