Happy Monday!!

After 2 days of rest it is time for me to head back to the gym.  My goal for the week is to add some new strength training  (focusing on abs maybe) and at least 60 minutes of cardio per day.  If the weather is decent next weekend I will walk in a parade on Saturday *Cinco de Mayo on the West Side of St. Paul) and a 5K on S
unday. 

I am still amazed that my body can move this much without being in total pain!

I walked 2 miles at daybreak.  With the rain, the dankness of the earth is pervasive.  I walked another 3 miles or so at lunch time.  With the cool., blustery weather, not very many people were out and about today.  I suppose that is a good thing, since I let my mind wander and paid less attention to where I was stepping than usual.  No goose or doggie doo incidents, though, which is most fortunate.

I'm taking the day off I don't feel that great. I may go for a walk in the afternoon if i feel better.

I plan on walking on the treadmill and listening to the music loud.....It's a time for me to just let go of all my worries.......

My hubby got my bike all ready, so once it's warm enough for me, I'm going biking....

I just got done walking Lake Harriet..........it's a bit windy and cold. DANG!! I wore layers.......and a down vest. What happened to that HOT weather we had last week?

I've committed to a neighbor to walk 3 miles every morning so we started today.  Then I toured the U of M with my daughter...not rigorous walking but it was good.
