Re: It's been awhile
It has been awhile since I posted i have been reading and just kinda lurking but not wanting to spend a whole lot of time glued to the computer, I'm nearly 8weeks out and have lost 43lbs. Things are some days frustrating as far as the limited foods I eat some days I can handle turkey, chicken or pork and some days they come back up. I still haven't figured if I'm lactose intolerant or if it is the whey protein but I have switched to soy(isolate) and soy milk. I haven't been to creative with recipes yet and just stay with whats going to get me the most protein and some days I still don't meet the minimum of 60g. I do get my liquid and vitamins daily no skimping on that.
All though some days are challenging or frustrating I have no regrets on the choice to have the rny surgery, I am still excited to see the weight come off and already feel a ton better, lots of energy and more pep in my step my 13yr old said he has to step it up now to keep up with my pace (gotta luv it)
My biggest downfall would be not wanting to exercise so I made an appointment for a consult at the Y our family already has a membership, so at least I can make a commitment to just do it. Any suggestions on what motivates you to exercise besides just move your arse
Thanks,TrishG

Hey Trish
For me it is just simply that I FEEL better after I work out! it seems likea chore at first since we spent so much time NOT doing it. but once you put it into your daily schedule you'll start to see it as YOU time. not to mention the weight comes off faster when you work out too... in the beginning I was dropping 3-5 lbs a day and I attribute it to working out daily.
Take care!
