Sceduling After Approval with Dr Baker/Johnson's clinic

I have just submitted ALL of my paperwork to BCBS today. My question for all of you that have had Dr. Johnson is, how far do they schedule surgery after they receive your insurance approval??

I just had my surgery with Dr Johnson 2 weeks ago, and I scheduled that surgery 4 weeks prior. So, I don't think it should be more than that, they are pretty good!! Good luck!

I believe it took three weeks between approval and my actual surgery date. I was very excited when I went in for my final weigh-in and was given a date for less than two weeks later.

I had Dr. Baker and it took 3 weeks from Approval to Surgery.

I had Dr. Johnson, I seen him on April 3 and had surgery on April 15th. So for me it was less that two weeks. Good Luck!
