No way,,,
Girl, I'm so proud of you!!!!!!!!
Well if you're drinking protein shakes you count those toward your liquid intake? I know alot of post-surgery people post about how they are struggling getting all their liquids in the first week.. especially the water on top of the shakes.. I'm guessing its because our pouch is so little and swollen?
Maybe Sal has some insight for ya since she's a new LOSER too ...
I hope you're doing well.. work sucks today ..

Oh, I know. It's hard at first. For me, I couldn't even watch a food commercial without turning the channel. I didn't even care to eat much.
Just keep on trying and it WILL get better and easier. I had to work to follow a schedule to at least get in something every couple of hours or so. I always had (and still do) water with me everywhere I went. You don't want to get dehydrated...been there, done that.

So early out the liquid count is way more important than the protein count. Drink Isopure water 40g protein and 20oz of liquid.
You should be sipping at all times. The only time I am not sipping is when I'm sleeping or showering or 30min before/after I eat.
You need to drink girl - get a medicine cup and sip on that and refill every 15mins.
My doc never gave me the 20-30 or the 42. It was always 64+ liquids and 60+ protein and I did it with isopure the first week.

do the best you can - make sure you are sipping all day - dont' want to get dehydrated - water or liquid with you all the time. If you drink a protein shake or milk it counts towards liquid. It will get easier everyday - be gentle on yourself and your new pouchie - it was just born - needs some healing time.
Best wishes Therese! You can do this! Happy Healing!
