Support Groups
IMHO - the best support groups are on the weekends! We post a variety of locations coffee groups on Saturday mornings. It is very informal - just meeting with others who are looking to have surgery, had surgery recently, had surgery a while ago. It is a great way to ask questions, get support and get a latte'
I think this weekend there is one at Burnsville - at the Panera by the Mall - around 830ish. Other weekends they are at Eagan at the Caribou inside Byerlies and there is one at Maple grove and I believe Roseville and a West St. Paul - I will let others chime in on those.
These coffee groups are not specific to any clinic and there isn't a set agenda or anything like that.
It DOES seem CRAZY EARLY, especially if you're not a morning person (HELLO!!
I am so NOT a morning person!!!)
But set your alarm, and go. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. And there's a damn good chance you'll be hooked after the first time.
(Besides - whodathunk Saturdays were actually that long? Used to feel like I had to start dinner shortly after I got up!
