Sweetie,

I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch. We got some devastating news about my moms health. She has extensive, small-cell Lung Cancer and begins chemo on Monday. We're all still in shock, but managing as best we can.  The whole family will be with her tomorrow as it may well be her last mother's day!

I was so shocked to hear about your surgery. I've been thinking of you often though and will continue to keep you in my prayers! Please feel free to call me anytime!

you haven't been having the best time.....I hope you are doing better.  Scary to have emergency surgery on your brain.  Rest and heal-prayers going your way....
