SWAPKINS is..............

Come one come all...!!  Got some things you want to bring....?  Need some new duds...?  Dont need a darn thing but would love get together for some fun and fellowship with some other LOSERS...?  Then we WANT YOU...!!

POTLUCK to follow (5ish....) or whenever it falls into place..  I will have plenty of paper products and plastic wear to share.  I will also pick up a couple cases of water and be happy to keep the coffee pot brewing.. (Just got a new once and she purrs)  If you would like anything other that to drink, I do ask that you bring your own... :o)  Otherwise bring a WLS friendly dish to share.. (NOT Required if you are not able.. WE Still want YOU...).. 

Bring a chair if you got one..

**Something to add....  I have many treasures remaining from my garage sale that are in the DAV box that are up for grabs at NO cost.  It is all yours for the taking..!**

First question -

Dana, WHAT did I pledge to bring?  I have the memory of a drunken gnat.

Second - and this is just a thought...  A couple of us were thinking maybe it would be a loverly day for a nice hike somewhere after coffee, but BEFORE Swapkins??  I was originally thinking Wild River State Park, but I looked at the map to get a feel for where Oakdale is, and noticed it's not at ALL far from Stillwater!

So.... what do you all think about coffee at Stillwater, some hiking around there by the river, or possibly up to Taylor's Falls, or maybe Lake Elmo Regional Park Reserve, which is practically within spitting distance of Dana's place?

Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a VERY nice park...

I am so looking forward to my first Swapkins but I have a couple ?'s! First since I don't drive much beyond Edina or Eden Prairie, is it possibly for a non WLS friend to bring me and hang out or is that just weird? (Please be honest, it won't upset me) Second, the clothing that I bring do I mark the sizes or  what do I do with it? Just wasn't sure the set up w/ the clothing. Sorry for sounding so doppy!!!

You are more than welcome to bring a friend...!!  The more the merrier!!

The last Swapkins, I brought a non WLS friend and she had as much fun as I did!!  I'm not a pro at how they "all" organize the Swapkins but the one I went to this past fall had signs made with sizes and you put your clothes in the section that they belonged in.  Hope that helps.
