It was quick, easy and fabulous!

I got the idea from the biggest loser but looked up their recipe and didn't have the chipotle seasoning and peppers so then looked up another couple of recipes and made my own.

1lb of Ground Turkey Breast
onion 1med (I love onion, 2 carrots, 1 celery stalk (Put these is the food processor chopped them up good)
1 tbls of worcheshire sauce
1 egg
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1/4 tsp sage (TOO MUCH - not the biggest fan of sage)
1 tsp ground garlic pepper and onion powder
1/4c quick oats

Mixed all together and rolled them in a ball and put them in greased muffin tin - I like to spray mine with non stick grape seed oil

Bake at 350 20-30 mins

Then for the sauce I did Agave Ketchup 1/4c- no high fructose corn syrup!!! 1 tbls spoon of worcheshire sauce and 1 tbls of organic brown sugar.

Spoon topping over and bake for another 10mins or so.

YUMMY!  I should have had a little more sauce because naturally the turkey is a little dry so maybe do 1/2c of the ketchup.

Well let me tell you I surprised myself with how great I did!  I love to try new things.  I've looked up a bunch of Turkey meatloaf recipes today and some have cheese and tomato sauce and all sorts of fun stuff you can do with this.

Thought I would share.

PS - ticker moved a little - yay!

I use turkey quite often. I made a meatloaf with it not long ago. I will definately try this recipe!

Thanks, Sal.  I saw the recipe on the show, too, and wish I'd made a note of it.  Sounds good!

I'm sure you could!  Just add some turkey gravy or something to it - to give it some moisture.
Thanks on the ticker - whoopwhoop!

Thanks for sharing - I too use turkey in just about anything where I would (and sometimes still do) use beef.  In fact, had turkey spaghetti tonight with whole grain thin noodles.  Yum! Yum!

Sal,  are you coming to Swapkins?  I would love to meet you!

I need to make these for lunches.  Yum!  The hubby doesn't like meatloaf so I could freeze and take out as needed.  Thanks for the reminder!
I have gained some great friends on this journey!
