When I would not chew meat very well and get clogged, putting meat tenderizer into some warm water and drinking it would resolve the problem in about 20 to 30 minutes. Not the best taste...it does help. Do you know what you may be clogged with?
yes, I started my pureed diet today, and was eating carrots. I think I must have just swallowed a little too much. Thanks for the advise, I don't think I have any meat tenderizer but sounds like I should have some on hand.

I put up w/ vomitting everything for 3 weeks I would even throw up liquids, finally called the doc and they found I had a stricture, somewhat common (I guess) they just do an Endoscopy and use a balloon to open up the opening to the size it should be. If it keeps up and you are really chewing your food well and eating slow then I would call the doc!! Good Luck!!!
I could never stand the pain of food being clogged/stuck so I would make myself spit up in order to get relief. If you eat a meat item, Papaya enzymes can help break up the protein. Walgreens has them, they're chewable tablets that taste really good. I don't think Papaya would help w/ the carrotts though. By now I'm sure you're feeling better.
