What do you do when you feel sick and don't want to eat, but need the nutrition?

Got both drains removed yesterday and feel like I was socked in the stomache today very naseaus, and sore, had a 1/2 carnation brkfst about 8:30 am but feel so yucky don't want to eat....

Have to do Puree's and LD for 2 more weeks since 2nd surgery, so sick of all this food and sick of feeling sick.....Sorry pitty party.

You have every right to have a pitty party girl - you've been through so much!  Hang in there I can't imagine what you've been through! hugs!

All you can do right now is the best you can do.  You had a double-whammy!  You're not going to feel hungry, you might even feel a bit nauseous - but you do need whatever nutrition you can manage to get in.  Preferably, protein-based. 

Remember, if you DON'T eat, your body will think you're starving it and hang on to what it's got for dear life!  Feed your body, make sure you're staying hydrated, and before you know it, this will just be an unpleasant memory.
