MON: How are you moving?
I am going to take a nice Nordic walk today if the weather allows.
How are you moving?
How are you moving?
Happy Monday Everyone!
It is off to the gym this morning. I am going to continue with what I started last week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I will do about 1 hour of cardio and 30 minutes of strength training. On Tuesday and Thursday it will be about 90 minutes of cardio. I am still amazed at how much my body craves movement now. It is fun to be able to challenge myself by moving up the intensity or speed. I also enjoy reading the newspaper while I am on the bike!!

Good Luck tomorrow Donna! We will save room for you on the bench!
As for spending as much time at the gy as I do, I pay for it by waking up at 3:30 each morning and fininshing my workout before coming to school to teach a full day of Kindergarten. I know that if I tried to work out after school I would come up with every excuse in the book!!
When I was right out of surgery my workout consisted of a a total of 15 minutes of cardio. It took me months to work up to where I am now. I have arthritis in both knees and both hips, am missing 2 1/2 toes, have a fused ankle and a Charcot ankle. If they can get me moving (and relatively pain free I must add) they can get anyone moving!! Don't worry, it will come with time and weight loss!!
I'll be thinking about you tomorrow!
