Approved - that was fast
I spoke w/my doctor's ofc earlier this week and she said she would be sending in my paperwork to the insurance later this week and that I would probably have a determination in a week or so. Because I have the patience of a gnat, I called Preferred One and asked if they had a pre-cert on file.
She said yes I do.
I said, you do???
Yes, it came over yesterday and was approved yesterday
WOW, now I need to wait for the surgery scheduler to be in the office tomorrow!
I want to thank all of you for your help. I've been reading this forum and the rest of the board off and on for over a year and have received sooooo much good information. More importantly, I think, because of you all, I have a realistic expectation and I'm in a good place to begin this new chapter of my life. Although I'm a lurker and you don't know me, you have all helped me. . .and I thank you for that.
