OT: Face Book n me

I know many of you are on FB.  I know many of you have requested to be my friend on FB but I have not accepted very many from OH.  I am sorry, it's not personal, its just that I had this thing where I have wanted to separate the OH world from the rest of my world.  In light of recent events in my life, I'm beginning to see things differently.  I apoligize to all those who I have not accepted.  Try me again if you want.


I do ask that comments about weight loss not be posted.  Many of my friends do not know and I wish to keep it that way.  Also, I have very religious family members on FB, so keep public messages G rated.  Private messages can say anything you want:) I cannot be offended.

Hopefully people understand.  I have had a similar thing with another group I was associated with.  The anonymity that I needed would have been compromised (and that of a family  member who was the primary person I was in the support group for).

Sometimes we have to divide the facets of our lives.  It's individual.

I understand.  I'm the same way.  It's a personal thing for me and I want to be the one that tells people what I've been through.  I'm more comfortable here talking about it, but FB is so much more public.  I keep my profile private there, too.

I understand where you are coming from.  I have a mix of surgery friends and non surgery friends and family.  Most of the non surgery peeps do not know I have had WLS or Plastics....

I too appreciate weight loss surgery and plastics not being mentioned on FB.  I know people *****spect me, will respect my wishes.  I am sure it's the same for you.
