Liquid diet question

I am on day three of the liquid diet--only 11 to go. I am wondering something. Is it ok if I add about a teaspoon of the powdered PNB to the chocolate optifast with ice in the magic bullet? How about a teas. of mushy bananna to the strawberry. Sure makes it taste better. My Dr. reduced some of my insulin because my sugars are going to low.

I'd call your NUT and ask. I know my LD is pretty strict as what you can and can't have.. try going to to grocery store and buying some sugar free flavored syrups.. they are on the top shelf of the coffee section, or you can find hershey's sugar free chocolate and strawberry syrup in the ice cream topping area. you don't want to add too much to them because you're upping sugar and carbs and we're supposed to be on high protein shakes!

The sugar free syrups have been excellent.  I bought the Raspberry one (I think the brand is Torani) and love it!  It really cut the "protein" taste in some of my shakes recently.

My favorite protein is Body Fortress from Walmart.  I've learned recently if I mix it in a blender w/ice to make a "milk shake" it is far more filling.  It's a really hard journey and thank goodness my family is being so supportive with my very cranky attitude that pops out around dinner time, LOL.  Keep pushing your fluids and you can do this!
