Bladder infections after surgery?

A couple weeks before Easter I had one, Doc put me on a 5 day RX of anti biotic. Little over a week after, it came back (Easter morning) Yet another RX for another 5 days. I figured it is that malabsorb stuff  was why it came back- not long enough on the med. Now this eve I am getting that odd stinging feeling.. I think it is back! I drink plenty of liquids, mostly water, throughout the day. Would it matter if it was more crystal lite vs plain water. I usually mix them. I just can't figure out why this would keep coming back. Our changes in body? Other then that I have been fine and healthy LOL.  I am  going to the  walk in clinic at 9 am tomorrow.

I had a bladder infection while on a trip, not the most oppotrune place to get it.  I think it was the first year after my surgery.  I haven't had one since, though, so I'm not sure if the surgery had anything to do with it.  I am not a big plain water drinker, really like the peach mango tea CL.  I think liquid is liquid, LOL

At least it can be easily cured!!  Get well soon, it is pretty uncomfortable!

Thanks Linda,

I too figure liquid is liquid, just that lil dust mite that sits on my shoulder whispers in my ear "more plain water" I keep flicking him off my shoulder..sometimes he floats back up LOL
Actually this morning the sting is gone, urine is still clear and no smell. So, now I am really tossed, maybe it was a fluke and I should wait. I could waste the money and still go/find out nothing.grrrr...see that dust mite is back!

Kelly,

You could check with a Doctor to see if some type of vaginal infection would cause the sting/burning sensation?  With all the changes, including hormonal, that could be the cause!  Just a thought!
