Thank you so much for that info. So the gelcap Vit D things I've been taking have just been for fun, haven't they? Goodness.

This information is so helpful. Thank you again.

I'm having my FULL labs drawn this week (yes the one where they test everything lol) so I'll consult with Vitalady when I have numbers for anything. (The Vit D draw was because I was tired and dizzy.)

Anna,

Vitalady is amazing.  I sent her a message this morning and she has already gotten back to me twice and with a list of suggested supplements so I can put my order in immediately and get on top of this as soon as I can.

I agree on how helpful Michelle (the Vitalady) is.  I haven't consulted with her personally, but have used her website and have seen her posts on the grad board.  My vit D levels were low, I started taking 10,000 units of her dry vitamin D and in 3-4 months I was back up again.

Dry vitamins are important for RNY'ers.  I take dry vitamin E, dry vitamin A and dry vitamin D.  I get the D from Vitalady, the rest from Iherb.com.  Anything in oil is virtually useless.  I also take a multivitamin, but supplement the A, D and E in dry form.
