Monday Weigh-In

Troy, I've been inspired by you and Nicole. I don't say much about it because I tend to keep it inside. But the two of you and what you have. And stepping outside of the comfort zone and taking risks. And the marathons? My goodness. That is something I really want to do but haven't yet. Now that I've moved, now that I am raising my two daughters on my own, now that I'm working full time and broke trying to raise my two daughters.... I think running should be in my future. Especially since I now live in hick town where there is plenty of open, flat land and no hills! Now just to get used to the smell of the farm lands.

To all of those who have stepped outside of their comfort zone and have made changes in their lives to better themselves. Healthwise. Socially. Personally. Spiritually. I am inspired by your strength and admire you more than words can say. We took this journey to better ourselves. And to take that step to better ourselves mentally and spiritually, too..... much tougher than the weight loss. Hats off to everyone! You are incredibly inspiring.

Kelly... I need to tell you that you are a strong, brave, and courageous lady...to the bone!!  You are doing what you need to do for your family and still working your tool...that is what I call a success.  I can only imagine how hard it was to pick up and move to a strange place, but am so happy that you are so positive about all the changes.  I remember meeting you as a pre-op and thinking.. "I want to be as successful as her", that day you were inviting and smiling and happy as can be with life, and I know that you really felt that way, partially because of your journey.  You can accomplish that marathon...and we will be there to cheer you on!!  We need to get together during a work break sometime since we are only a tunnel away from each other... it's been too long!! Let me know!! I'm proud of you and you are one of many that I look up to for examples of S-U-C-C-E-S-S!!
