Hot date with a surgeon!

I found out at the beginning of my pre-op class today that my surgery date will be July 22nd! It was so hard not to shriek and call my husband and my mom immediately, but I gracefully held it in for the next 2 hours of class/weigh in.

In addition to the surgery news, my husband and I put an offer on a house today that could potentially close July 30th, which is also our son's birthday. What's that saying about God not giving you more than you can handle?
