Great picture! I love seeing ones like this and it's even more fun to see you and your son in the pants.

I love seeing pictures like this.  I still have a pair of pants for before WLS but I have never tried them on, not sure why.

Well my goal for the rest of the summer is to get break into the 160's.  My body really likes the 170's and I've been trying a variety of different things to get it to move.  I'm like you, I have skin and strange shapes on my body and I'm determined to lreshape them.  So today it's jogging and biking, tomorrow walking and weights.  I usually swim but the pool is closed for repairs.

Keep up the good work, you look great!

Alana (by the way, you have a lovely name...lolol)

Hey Alan!  Great to hear from you - we miss your smiling face and shiny shades at MG coffee!  Be sure to haul your little butt there sometime if you're in town!

As for Ryan hopping in your pants with you?  Did you have to promise him you would never show the photo to anyone else?  Trav did that with me...

Yeah... sorry, Trav...

I think EVERYONE should hang onto a pair of pre-op "fat" pants and take a photo like this when they're able!!!

YAY YOU!!!  And YAY RYAN!!!

LOL!  Way to go Darla.  No, I never did promise Ryan that I wouldn't show the picture around.  He's pretty cool about that stuff!  Are you enjoying the nice weather in Minne?  It's a heat wave out here in Seattle.  And that sucks because air conditioners and central air are the exception, not the norm.  I manged to get a free, partially working air conditioner from a friend of mine to keep the boys cool in our apartment.  Home Depot and the other hardware stores out here are SOLD OUT of the smaller units that can plug into a regular outlet.

Take Care Friend!

MY GAWD ALAN!!! That picture speaks a thousand words! It is so amazing to know what a difference WLS can make in people's lives and the clothing size changes is just ONE of them.
Awesome progress!!!

Summer goal? Wow, I honestly have not thought of one beyond just continue having fun with my kiddos because it is almost August and soon they'll be back to school. I know most parents get excited about this right about now, but not me - this has been my first chance to be home with them & we are really having a blast.

I agree with you about excercising outside and seeing things! I've been bike riding for a while now and I see a lot of nature, flowers, animals, things I'd rather not...LOL, etc. I am always so much more clear minded when outside, too.

Best to you & keep us posted on how your weight training goes!

Hey Stranger! I've been following you on FB. Sounds like things are fantastic for you! Glad to hear that.

My number one goal for the remainder of the summer is to be a better friend and return phone calls. My life turned upside down in March and I'm now just starting to be able to enjoy my weekends instead of moving! Now I need to get my butt to coffee or support groups because I really miss so many people.

So with that said, you may be hearing from me this wee****ep up the great work, Alan! I'm proud of you.

Kelly
