Getting myself ready for the losers bench - got date

Hello MN board, haven't been here for a while.  I got my date.  Lap RNY Sept. 2, currently drinking my 3 weeks of liquid diet as prescribed.  Designated hubby to cook for himself for the next few weeks.

Taking this 1 day at a time and looking forward to my new life after surgery.

A 3 week liquid diet? OMG. I'm sorry. I know every surgeon has their reason behind it, but that is a long one. Come here often for support!!!

Never heard of your surgeon before, where's your surgery at?

St. Mary's hospital in Duluth.  Looking for others up here on the iron range.  Anyone else.  Long way to go to the cities for coffee.  4 hour drive to get to the cities from here, most of it is freeway.

Congratulations on getting your surgery scheduled!!  And yeah, a three week liquid diet will suck, but you can do it.  I am finishing mine today and have my surgery tomorrow.  Good luck!
