waiting for surgery date

YahHHHHHHHHHHHHHH just got my approval today but need to wait another week to get surgery date. The person who gives you the surgery date is out on vacation, but that is okay it wiil give me more time to get ready for the big day.I am so happy.

Congratulations!!!!  I am sure it's killing you to have to wait for the scheduler to return, but you have a great attitude about it.

I am a newbie to the board and have been so thankful for all the support and advice I've been given.  I am sorry you don't have people around you who would like to hear about your journey, but you've got LOTS of people here who will!!!  Keep coming here with your questions, your concerns, and your fears.  Let the people here lift you up, my friend. 

Congrats on your approval! The date will just secure the approval feeling and then you'll realize it's real. It's a fun time, but makes your head spin.

Which surgery are you having?

I will be having the RNY I have to used to the short term for my surgery . I am new to  this site and I love the support I am getting so far. I was nervous until i started  on this site, but now I feel better and know that this surgery will do more good than harm to me . I can not wait until the weight comes off and I get my health back. Thank You for your support.

Thanks will update as soon as I get the date. The support is very help full and I am so glad that I joined this site it gives me something to help keep my spirits up and to occupy my  mind while I wait.
