Update on Lucy (Hospital)

You'll have to bear with me on the spelling of some medical terms.  Her Lypase level is (200 is the norm)3600 and her Amylase (I think) level is 1649 .  She has severe pancreatitus due to her gallbladder duct being blocked by a stone.  They can not take her gal bladder out until these levels come down.  This is serious but we know that God is more than able.  The surgeon came in and talked to us and laid it on the line.  It could be like a heart attack in some people, but as healthy as Lucy is, he does not see it as that dangerous.  As it stands now, they will remove her gal bladder on Thursday IF the levels are lower.  Just keep her in your prayers.  We appreciate it.  Kelly, thank you for your email.  You have snail mail on the way.  Thank you all!  We love you, our Minnesota family.  Lucy feels detached from you all since she moved and she misses you all.  God bless!
