Bariatric Advantage Cal Citrate Lozenges w/ D offer..
Hi all! I thought I would offer this out here on the MN site as I can't afford shipping costs & not being able to use this has cost me A LOT!... So, today I got my order from Bariatric Advantage for their Calcium Citrate Wild Cherry Flavored Lozenges with Vitamin D ( 270 count ($ 39.95)). I'm super excited as I crack it open (I LOVE wild cherry flavored stuff!) put one in my mouth and within minutes the entire top of my mouth & tongue are coated with canker sores & are just tore up! Turns out my mouth isn't too happy with the artificial citrus blend & citric acid they put in it. Needless to say, I'm super disappointed. So I call the company and they tell me that they cannot do refunds or exchanges as it's been opened, even if only 1 has been taken out. With my DH being out of work, not exactly an expense that was easily written off, to say the least! Well, our loss is someone elses gain! If anyone thinks they could possibly use these I would gladly meet up somewhere between Hudson and Woodbury or so to pass this along! We cannot afford to ship, so if you want it, you need to be willing to drive to meet up with us. Thanks guys! I hope one of you all can use this!!

SWEET! Yes, PLEASE let me know what you think! I was just thinking (&posted below) that maybe one could cru**** & put it in a beverage? They kind of remind me (at least size wise & consistancy) of those Fizzie's tabs that you could drop in to water & it would fiz up and make a Kool-aid type drink.. Hmmm..??
PS- I know how far you'd have to come to get these, so I could try and meet you somewhere in the middle of the 2 of us if you decide you'd want this.. If not, I think I'll take up Amy's suggestion & bring it to swapkins (maybe bring along snack sized baggies so peoples can just take what they want or whatever...)

Oh Honey. I am soooo sorry this happened to you. I ordered them too and was less than thrilled. They are tough to use in that you have to wait for them to dissolve and it takes a while and as you say, they have a lot of acid, etc.... I am hopeful that someone who loves them will see it as an opportunity and pay you for them.

Thanks sweetie! It's a bummer to hear there are others out there with the same less than thrilled response.. I wonder if you could crush them down & add it to your crystal light or whatever beverage one likes to drink..?? Hmmm.. I'm not worried about getting paid for them, honestly, I'd just rather it go to someone who could really use it :o) We'll get it figured out!

Hi girl! THX for that notation on the "D", I did notice that, but was fine because I already take a seperate supplementary "D" from my chiropractor (I started taking it in February when my D was only a 10, and was able to get it up to 38 in just a few months). So, I'm getting D from my other calcium citrate, the dry D from my chiro (metagenics brand), and the D from my ADEK combo.. HOPEFULLY I'll have the rest of my blood panel soon so we'll know whether or not it's working! As for swapkins, I sent out a PM, but haven't gotten a response back as of yet.. If it doesn't work out to go there, would you mind if I sent a bag of clothes with you to share with the group? It's mostly 24-26's, do you think anyone could use them? Thanks for your response!!
