Ferrous Fumarate or Ferronyl which to use??

Hi all! I just got a letter from my surgeon telling me to begin taking ferrous fumarate, but I have ferronyl right now.. I don't understand why he's having me do this as my hemo is 13.9 and my ferritin is 135. any thoughts/ ideas/ suggestions?? Thanks!

Hmmmm- call the office and ask them?? I have a low ferritn level. I take Vitron C because it is easier on the stomach than ferrous sulfate. Your surgeon might have a different opinion than your primary doctor- so I would ask the surgeon.
